Engine restoration

We undertake engine restoration as a complete process or as individual tasks. Your engine can arrive already removed from the car, or, if required, we can also remove and refit it, inspect the associated systems and complete the final commissioning. We begin with diagnostics and a detailed condition assessment. Based on disassembly and measurements, we define the necessary restoration work and replacements. Our established partner workshops carry out the machining, with full coordination from us. We document the entire process, agree costs in advance and hand over the finished engine after adjustment and inspection.

Why us?

We work with classic and youngtimer engines

We apply the experience gained in our restoration and repair projects to engine restoration, whether restoring the original condition or making technical improvements.

Engineering approach

We do not assume that everything must be replaced. We use measurements and diagnostics to decide what can be restored, what must be replaced and which technical solution is justified.

Everything coordinated for you

From removal through parts procurement and machining to final commissioning, we coordinate the entire process.

Transparent process

We document disassembly and the condition of the parts, and agree the necessary work and costs with you in advance.

Established machining partners

We do not rely on a single machine shop. We work with several partners, allowing us to involve the right specialist for the engine and machining task.

Warranty

We provide a 6-month warranty on all work we carry out. Larger projects and complete restorations receive a longer warranty under individual terms.

How does engine restoration work?

  1. Condition assessment and diagnostics

We always begin by assessing the engine’s condition. If the complete car arrives, we also check the engine in operation before removal where necessary.

  2. Removal and disassembly

The engine can arrive already removed, but we also undertake complete removal and refitting. During disassembly, we inspect and document all main components.

  3. Measurements and restoration plan

Based on the necessary measurements, we establish which components can be restored, which must be replaced and what machining is required. We then refine the parts list and cost estimate.

  4. Machining and parts sourcing

Our established partner workshops carry out the machining. We select the appropriate partner for the engine and fully coordinate the work and parts procurement.

  5. Assembly and adjustment

We professionally assemble the engine from the restored and inspected components, then carry out the necessary adjustments and checks.

  6. Installation, commissioning and testing

If the complete car arrived, we reinstall and commission the engine and check it under load to ensure that the entire system works correctly.
